Are you looking for an exciting attraction to add to your school carnival?

Look no further!  Here are some great special event Activity Booths, tailored just for school fundraisers.

Activity Booths:

  • Super Balls  (make it and then take it home in a small plastic cup)
  • Slime  (make it and then take it home in a small plastic cup)
  • Putty  (make it and then take it home in a small plastic cup)
  • Balancing Birds  (cut out bird, color it if you want, and attach weights to the wing tips of the bird to allow it to balance on the your fingertip)
  • Cotton Candy (usually eaten immediately,  but you learn a little about how it is made first)
  • Mineral Hunt  (examine our large mineral collection, especially under a black light, and take home a collection of small minerals you select from a bin, includes a card that describes the minerals.)
  • Fossil Hunt (examine large fossil samples and then take home a small collection of fossils you pick out.  Choose two from a collection of 8 types and 4 from the shark tooth bin.)
  • Van de Graaff generator  (kids don’t take anything home, they watch demonstrations about static electricity, see indoor lightning and if the weather is dry, have the experience of having their hair stand on end.)
  • Hovercraft (kids don’t take anything home, they have the experience of floating on a cushion of air.  The children sit on the hovercraft and the Mad Scientist pulls them for a short ride.  Loud as it is powered by a leaf blower.)
  • Ultra Violet Bead Wristband  (make it and wear it home.  Beads are white and turn color when exposed to ultraviolet light; these cycle back and forth hundreds of times)
  • Water Filter/Pond Water (kids don’t take anything home, they have the experience of helping to build some simple water filters and observing their effectiveness on dirty water.  Kids also examine pond water samples through microscopes and identify the pond life they see. Best from May to October.)
  • Paper Airplane Contest (kids choose a paper airplane design, fold it, test it and then enter the contest.  Needs approximately 30 ft of space to test fly the planes to determine the best one)
  • Instant Snow (make it and then take it home in a small plastic cup.  The crystals turn into snow almost instantaneously but you can let it dry out and do it over and over again. It takes several days to a week to dry out the crystals at room temperature.)
  • Chess Challenge (Chess master will play simultaneous chess games.  Win and get a small magnetic chess set.)

Mad Science Activity Booths are interactive, action packed, grade appropriate, affordable, adaptable, and hassle-free. Cost of a booth is $130 per hour which includes 80 to 100 kids participating during the hour.
